What is Kava?
Kava, yaqona, awa, ava or sakau are all names used for this traditional plant (shrub) that grows in all parts of South Pacific. The Kava Drink (tea) is a relaxing beverage using the roots and has been enjoyed in the South Pacific Islands for over 3,000 years. Kava is deeply anchored to islands tradition and customs, as it is a drink that promotes happiness and peace in your mind, soul, and body.
Botany Evolution tests all of the products that we import and distribute, to ensure the absolute best quality. We stand behind all of our products and have Certificates of Analysis available to back our products 100%. We source and trace all of our products to guarantee you the finest quality kava available.
Our state-of-the-art testing facility uses industry-standard equipment to test the Nobility of our kava, along with its breakdown in contents, including Kavalactone levels. We use an Agilent 1100/1200 HPLC with DAD Detector along with a Windows 7 Pro Chem-station PC to test our products. Additionally, our lab is equipped to test products from other sources (farmers, suppliers, distributors, retailers, online, etc.) for alkaloids and composition, heavy metals, and microbes.
